The 2023 "Solar Energy Cup" Innovation Sharing Session took place in Suzhou on February 15. As a premier innovation forum known for its forward-looking, comprehensive, authoritative, and inclusive approach to the PV industry, the session brought together leading figures to exchange perspectives and strategic insights on key issues shaping the sector.

Dr. Wu Weiwu, Deputy General Manager of Sungrow FPV, was invited to speak at the event on "Floating PV Technology and Development." His presentation covered the current landscape, technological progress, and real-world applications of floating PV, sparking discussion among industry peers. Floating solar is now a well-established "PV+" model in the industry. The World Bank Group estimates that the global technical potential for floating PV on artificial reservoirs ranges between 400 and 4,000 GWp.
