From May 22 to 23, SABIC hosted the "Focusing on the Solar Future, Achieving Win-Win Through Collaboration" PV Industry Seminar and Supply Chain Summit in Shanghai. Sungrow FPV was invited to attend, joining approximately 70 guests from Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Energy, China-Saudi PV industry chain companies, and industry organizations to discuss development trends and industry layout in the PV sectors of both countries, while actively exploring new opportunities for upstream and downstream collaboration along the supply chain.

During the seminar, participants engaged in lively discussions on core topics including advanced modules, innovative cell technologies, and floating PV systems. Wu Weiwu, Deputy General Manager of Sungrow FPV, delivered a keynote speech titled "Technical Challenges and Development Trends in Floating PV — Materials." His presentation covered an overview of engineering challenges, technical advantages and difficulties, and future development trends in floating PV. He noted that as a pioneer in industry technological innovation, Sungrow FPV has mastered key floating PV power plant technologies including system design, materials, structural and array design, and anchoring systems, having filed over 150 patents. In terms of materials, Sungrow FPV boasts the industry's highest technical specifications for environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR), enabling monitoring of float material performance under various reagents and temperature conditions to ensure durability, thereby guaranteeing the safe and stable operation of floating PV plants.

During the seminar, Wu Weiwu exchanged ideas with industry experts, business delegates, and academics, offering creative solutions on issues like the circular economy, green power transition, and renewable energy adoption—while also presenting real-world success stories. Going forward, Sungrow FPV will keep driving decarbonization through cutting-edge products and technologies, collaborating with partners to "shape" a future that is smarter, greener, and more sustainable.
