On June 29, the technical pre-review meeting for the group standard "Design Specification for Anchoring Systems of Floating Photovoltaic Power Stations," led and compiled by Sungrow FPV and under the jurisdiction of the China Photovoltaic Industry Association, was successfully held. This marks a major milestone in the development of the world's first industry standard for floating PV anchoring system design, which is of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of the floating PV industry.

The meeting was organized by the Standardization Technical Committee of the China Photovoltaic Industry Association, with over ten experts from Sungrow FPV, the China Electronics Standardization Institute, and other organizations in attendance. Through preliminary research, data collection, standard drafting, discussion meetings, and public consultation, the professional anchoring team led by Dr. Wu Weiwu, Deputy General Manager of Sungrow FPV, completed the technical pre-review draft of the "Design Specification for Anchoring Systems of Floating Photovoltaic Power Stations." During the meeting, the review committee heard the report on the standard development process, examined the standard text and its preparation notes chapter by chapter and article by article, and further provided revision suggestions.

The floating PV industry has entered a phase of high-quality development, in which standardization plays a fundamental and guiding role in advancing industry progress. The "Design Specification for Anchoring Systems of Floating Photovoltaic Power Stations" focuses on aspects such as anchoring system design methodologies, load calculations, and anchoring selection. It provides comprehensive guidance for the design and planning of floating PV anchoring systems.

Once released, this standard will fill the gap in anchoring system standards within the floating PV industry and become the world's first design standard for anchoring systems in this sector. In the next step, the drafting group will carry out further revisions and submit the standard for approval in accordance with the review meeting requirements. Meanwhile, Sungrow FPV will continue to strengthen standard management, increase resource investment, and enhance the promotion and application of the standard, aiming to build industry consensus and support the healthy development of the sector.
