The 6th PV + Innovation Development Forum recently took place in Beijing, drawing more than 300 industry experts, academics, and business leaders for a lively exchange on cross-sector collaboration in photovoltaics. Wu Weiwu, Deputy General Manager of Sungrow FPV, was among the invited speakers, presenting a keynote on "Full-Scenario Floating PV System Solutions."

Renewable energy is now entering a new stage of high-quality, leapfrog development, presenting significant opportunities for the "PV+" model. The "PV + multi-scenario integrated development" approach is further expanding the space for deployment. "Sungrow FPV is actively advancing PV + multi-scenario integrated innovation, creating models such as floating PV + fisheries and floating PV + subsidence area rehabilitation." Drawing on solutions tailored to different scenarios, Wu Weiwu shared key floating PV technologies applied during project development, including system design, materials, structure and array configuration, and anchoring systems. He noted that Sungrow FPV has developed innovative floating PV solutions for a range of challenging application scenarios, including large water depth and high water level fluctuation conditions, unstable subsidence areas, industrial acidic water quality, extremely cold regions, and typhoon-prone zones. The technical reliability of these solutions has been fully validated in over 220 projects worldwide, with a total installed capacity of 2.6 GW.

Renewable energy, represented by photovoltaics, will further drive the transformation of China's energy system toward a safe, low-carbon, clean, and efficient new energy framework.
