On July 10, the launch ceremony for the Cypark Solar Power Park in Malaysia was successfully held, with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim attending and delivering a speech. Sungrow FPV was invited to the ceremony. The 35 MW floating PV project within the park fully adopts Sungrow FPV's system solutions. It is expected to generate 81 million kWh of clean electricity annually, meeting the yearly electricity needs of over 26,000 households and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 56,000 tons.

Situated on swampy terrain, the project presented substantial construction difficulties for the floating PV plant. Sungrow FPV provided technical guidance for the anchoring system, implementing a pile-driven design to maintain array stability and dependability. To counter the corrosive conditions, the company systematically optimized float materials and structural configurations, utilizing corrosion-resistant modules and support structures throughout—safeguarding reliable and efficient system performance.

According to the Malaysia Renewable Energy Roadmap (MyRER), the country aims for renewable energy to account for 31% of total electricity generation by 2025. Prime Minister Anwar stated that the Cypark Solar Power Park, as the largest solar power park in Malaysia, represents a significant milestone in advancing the country's new energy transition. It will inject new momentum into Malaysia's clean energy transformation and contribute to the nation's green energy goals.

Sungrow FPV will join hands with its partners to continuously contribute to the development of Malaysia's low-carbon energy system through high-quality products, cutting-edge technology, and efficient services.
