The 10MW floating solar project in Saraburi Province, Thailand, has been successfully connected to the grid. This floating solar power station is constructed on an industrial lake within Cargill's integrated poultry processing plant. Sungrow FPV provided a comprehensive floating solar system solution for the project. It is estimated that the project will generate approximately 285 million kWh of clean electricity over its lifecycle, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 132,000 tons.

The project site has previously experienced strong winds, but the floating solar system remained unaffected, earning high praise from the client for its stability and reliability. Based on wind tunnel tests and on-site meteorological tower data, Sungrow FPV revised the wind load calculation method, conducting thorough calculations and tests on the system's structural strength and anchoring stability to ensure long-term stable operation of the floating solar power station under extreme environmental conditions.

Robust System Structure: The high-strength zinc-aluminum-magnesium support can withstand strong winds of up to 180 km/h. The floaters have passed the industry's highest standards for bending, tensile fatigue performance, and edge-to-edge and diagonal pull tests. The system's connection points are highly secure, providing sufficient resistance to the solar panels and ensuring that no components are damaged, connection points remain stable, and floaters do not deform under strong winds.

Scientific Anchoring Design: Based on wind load parameters, the dynamic response of the system under the combined effects of wind, waves, and currents was analyzed. The length of each cable was determined by calculating 237 anchoring points. An adaptive elastic mooring system was used to accommodate the project's 9-meter water level variation. High-capacity anchor blocks were designed, with each block's tensile, anti-overturning, and anti-deflection capabilities verified to control sliding boundaries and ensure system stability.

Mr. Sanjay Gupta, CEO of Cleantech Solar, expressed his honor in deploying the advanced and efficient Sungrow FPV Floating solar system for the project, providing stable and reliable green power to the industrial park. He looks forward to continuing the collaboration with Sungrow FPV to help Thailand achieve its goal of having renewable energy account for 51% of total power generation by 2037.
